  1. I am trying to back up my copy of Disney's Pinnochio and smart ripper keeps stopping about 40% through the process. Unable to decript. Program gives three options retry, ignore, abort. I try "retry" and it keeps going to the next sector and giving the same error. Ignore just gives same problem at next sector. I can play the movie using windows XP media player fine. Have and no problems ripping other (non Disney) movies. Had same problem with other Disney movies. Does the DVD player software used (media player vs winDVD vs powerDVD) make a difference? Are there some settings that can be changed with smart ripper?

    What OS are YOU using?
    Are your ASPI drivers updated.
If you have XP please use SP-1
Try DECRYPTER 2.4 instead of smartripper
also, may be firmware of your DVD ROM that bites.. Try another
DVD-ROM or the burner itself if you can.

I use CREATIVE 2x player for the best regionfree ripping
also good is PIONEER burner itself
