im not an expert on ifoedit but i do believe it makes the dvdr play on the standalone dvd.

I am not completely fluent with ifoedit but I think
Each sector contains 2024 bytes so a dvd will contain multiple sectors containing all the information (movie/menus/subtitles etc) making up the Gb space.
When you stream(strip) subtitles/audio etc then you reduce the amount of bytes and sector information.
So you are left with ifo files with chunks of data missing here and there and everywhere(dvd laser hunts for info).
By getting `vts sectors` it then looks at the original ifo files(that u ripped)
and checks that information with your newly created ones(because you have stripped bits out)they r wrong and rewrites the ifo files according to what u r left with so the internal linking is constant.
The above maybe wrong but that is my understanding in non technical way.If tomorrow doesn`t exist where shall we all be the day after tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
I have just found something on ifoedit.com that explain a little bit more on vts sectors.
If tomorrow doesn`t exist where shall we all be the day after tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
