Hi folks and a happy new year
Hope you can help me. I got an SVCD and wanted to add chapters using VCDEasy. It sayd that the mpg was brolen and has to be fixed. So I used MPEGCorrector. But now VCDEasy says that it can only accept MPEG-movies or stillpictures.
Do I really have to reencode the file?
thanks a lot

You could also try VCDGear. If that doesn't work, try re-multiplexing your files with bbMPEG.
Hope That Helps!!! -
Hi
I read in this forum that VCDGear only works properly with VCD/mpg. When I try to process mpeg->mpeg then i get about 10-20 .mpeg files. Donīt know whats this. Can i merge them with TMPEGEnc-tools?
I tried to demultiplex and remultiplex it with bbMPEG which came with DVD2SVCD but it doesnt accept the mpeg file. Iīm going to find another version of bbmpeg and a proper guide.
After using MPEGCorrector do i have to use another proggy to get an working file?

Yes, VCDGear is for VCD, not SVCD. Some people apparently forget this on a regular basis.
How did you get the MPEG from the SVCD originally? If you didn't use vcdxrip (in VCDEasy) you should try using it instead of whatever you did before. -
Jes, i used the ripping function from VCDEasy. But I also tried to do it by "ripping" it with CloneCD and extract the mpg with Isobuster. But this doesnīt solve my problem.
Do you have another solution?
