When I drag/drop the .avs file into CCE, it says "OpenMovieFile() file
(-2095)" .. Backing up "Attack of the Clones" via:
SmRipper
CCE
IFOedit
(also using DVD2AVI, Bitrate Viewer, AVIsynth)
I'm ready to just buy the damned movies... This sh#@ is frustrating! Any help w/b greatly appreciated. Thx.

It's impossible to know what the problem is with an AVS file if you don't post the script. I'm guessing your syntax is just off somewhere.
Second, do not drag and drop any kind of file into CCE. This has been known to cause problems. Instead right click on the white box, select add, then load your avs/avi/vdr file. Just a little tip, I don't think this actually has anything to do with your problem.
You should buy the movie. This forum is intended to help people with backing up their dvds, among other things, not with illegally copying dvds. -

OK, thanks but.. I just installed trial version of CCE 2.66 (was using 2.64) and the message I'm getting now is "Frame size 924x56 is not supported. Frame sizes up to 720x576." I'm clueless what that means..
I checked my syntax in the .avs files like 5x and I'm fairly sure I've got it right..
LoadPlugin("C:\unzipped\video tools\AviSynth2\Plugins\MPEGdecoder.dll")
mpeg2source("C:ATTACK CLONES-SmRip\ATTACK_OF_THE_CLONES_D1\\clones.d2v",iDCT=2, CPU=0)
I'd try CCE2.5 but I can't seem to dl it from doom9.org ... Thx again. -

If there were something wrong with your script and you loaded it into CCE than how else would you know unless CCE returned an error. Its not like avisynth is going to give you an error msg. (unless you try to play the file.)
There are many possible reasons why CCE is returning the error, the script could be wrong, avisynth may be installed incorrectly, he may need to use an avi wrapper. Generally when there is a problem loading an AVS script its because of a problem with one of its commands. The first step in problem solving this is to actually see the text of the AVS script.
