I have found a few errors in AVI files that V-Dub did not catch using "Scan video stream for errors." I only found them after my A/V sync was out after encoding with TMPGenc. I traced the glitches by encoding 1 minute clips to find where the sync went out then edited them out with V-Dub. Kind of a slow process, especially when you count my original full encode first which failed.
Any suggestions for scanning for errors other than V-Dub?
