HI there I have the Toshiba SDV280 DVD/VCR Combo, and it's hooked up to my Toshiba TV (Model 20AF41) . From what I read the SDV280 has a remote that should be compatible with the DVD/VCR/TV . I can't seem to get it to control the TV Functions...like volume, and power off. I've only been able to get it to go black on the screen, like it's on standby..and you hear that high pitch. Does anyone know what I can do...I tried a universal remote..but that lacks functions, and doesn't work well. Any help would be appreciated.
