Ok guys .. trying to figure out the best settings to re-encode this sucker using DVD2SVCD .. but its giving Dvd2avi fits !
Every other frame it switches back and forth between "progressive" and "interlaced" i have never ever seen a film do this ?? Which is it ?
Getting about 1/3 through the movie the film is up to 80% film .. this isn't enough to use "forced film" correct ?
What is the aspect ratio of this film ? DVD2AVI shows 4:3 with letterbox .. can i re-encode this with DVD2SVCD's "16:9 Anamorphic" setting and maintain the picture ? Or should i re-encode with 4:3 ?
Any help is appreciated !

i used dvd2svd awhile ago with this movie and i just set all the settings to default and it woked great. if dvd2avi keeps going back and forth then it is probably interlaced. dvd2svcd will pick up on it and encode it the right way. at least it did for me.

titanic is both interlaced and progressive ... and there is an error in the encoding at one part also ..
as stated, dvd2svcd should still do ok with it ...
