Funny Digi-screen!!!

Hay. I recently bought a toshiba dvd writer and with the help of guides and what not on this site i have managed to backup my dvd's so my brother doesn't mess up the boxes. BUT! when you play the movie through most DVD players it will just suddenly freeze and have small digital boxes on the screen. i press stop on my remote then resume and its alright again then it will do it again later in the film. Any ideas will be most welcome.
