Hi, just wondering if n e 1 could give me a little advice ? When backing up my dvd's, i can back up the dual layers through dvd2svcd, all work fine on ps2, using branded FWS 1x write dvdr's, with the Pioneer A04, when i back up a single layer dvd using smartripper, i can not get the back up to work on the ps2, using same dvdr's, will play on all 3 other standalone players which i have, have also converted vcd's and svcd's to dvd-r and they work perfect on ps2, with same branded dvdr's - FWS 1x write, Y won't the single layer dvdr's i have backed up work ?? They r the easiest to back up but i seem to get more of a problem getting them to work on the ps2.

    Many Thanx

  2. just a thought!
why dont you use smartripper to demux to a m2v and ac3 then author with your authoring program like you would a dvd9 without the re-encoding, instead of a backup.

maybe the ps2 is funny about complete backups.

    worth a go!

  3. Try using DVD Decypter to read it as an .ISO then write

    Use Mode, Iso, Read

    Then Mode, Iso, Write

  5. I'm not sure when it was implemented but the last few versions have had it under the mode menu, just download the latest version from doom9
