okay im not a newbie but im having problems playing burnt svcd .bins. i use nero 5.5.9.9. i burn vcd bins without any problems playback on standalone sharp 740u dvd player is prefect. but when it comes to svcd bins when i try playback on powerdvd i get unknown file format and no disc on my dvd player. so i have to convert to .mpg then burn in nero to play correctly. i was wondering if anybody can help me with my problem maybe its nero and burning svcd bins or maybe the .cue file is messed upped happens on every single svcd bin i burn and i want to pinpoint the problem.

Are your SVCD's PAL or NTSC? Is your DVD player capable of playing both?
Have you tried opening & playing the .dat file from the cd on your pc using windows media player or power dvd?
Did nero say the files had burnt sucessfully? -
yes it plays both pal and ntsc and it burns sucessfully and in powerdvd i said when i play it says unknown file format

Using VCDEasy try converting your cue/bin files back to mpg. Then use VCDEasy to burn the SVCD from the mpg. It will create its own cue/bin files then burn them.

Yeah, VCDEasy is a great tool for burning a bin/cue file.
