  1. I converted an wma-file to wav and I wanted to play it with Windows Media Player. The player asked for Codec 1. But where can I find that Codec?

  2. Don't even look for such a codec, you obviously didn't convert properly. WAV audio is integrated in the system since Windows 3.0 and never uses any codecs.
    Make sure you choose WAV/PCM as output format. Use dbPowerAmp for the conversion.
