  1. Hi,

I was hoping if someone could help or suggest a good capture card for me. I've been reading all the reviews in the capture card section and it seems that everone of them had really serious bugs in them.

I'm looking for capture card that at least has all the scart inputs(red, yellow, white) and is able to capture mpeg 1 and 2 as I need it to be able to capture with DVD resolution. I've narrowed my search down to either one of pinnacle's cards or dazzle's dvc 150. It seems that Dazzle's DCV 150 has all the features I need but it also seems that tons of people have really bad problems with it, what do you think?

And for Pinnacle I can't seem to find a model that does everything that Dazzle's one does so any suggestions? Anyway please let me know or just suggest something, anything that you guys think is good. Even if it's not by Pinnacle or Dazzle. And if you have the Dazzle DVC 150, tell me about it, is it really buggy? Should I go for it?

    Do not buy DAZZLE 150.
The hardware seems to pretty ok.. But the software is very CPU intensive. It could be bcz of the preview, it takes 1005 load, then out put to disk not CPU time slice to work on,, thus misses frames, audio is chopped.. I just bought one, I am returning it...

I am too a newbie like u, looking for a good product. did one get a chance to review Adaptec Oh PCI?
