    hey people

i have a strange problem, i downloaded a .avi file with sync video and audio. When i split this movie with virtualdub, the 2 files are running out of sync.
Before virtualdub opens the original movie it gives me an error for vbm audio. I tried to strip the audio file in a wav file and the i put it back in the movie but then it was about 2 gig so i try to compress the wav file but that didn't work out.

    can someone please help me

You should read what that warning says
VBR (Variable Bit Rate) its warning you that you should decompress....

Anyway, don't use the normal Vdub use "vdub-mp3-freeze.exe" it handles VBR without the same problems.

Why do you want to split it ? Convert with TMPGEnc then split it later !!
