  1. I have a backup that i have just burned to dvd-r which jumps slightly when changing chapters.
The audio and video jump slightly for about half a second at the begining of each chapter.

    I used :

DVD Decrypter 3.1.4.0 to extract the .ac3 and .m2v files
    TMPG v2.56 to re-encode the .m2v to 3900kbps
DVD Maestro v2.9 ( 2915a ) to author the DVD
    Nero 5.5.9.17 to burn to a DVD-RW and a DVD-R

If i watch the .VOB files that have been authored using WinDVD v3.0, there is no jumping in the video or audio streams where the chapter changes would be.
But when watching the DVD-R, it jumps at the beginning of each chapter.

Could this be a bug with DVD Maestro ?

Anyone else had this problem and know how to solve it ?

  2. I have worked out what was wrong.......
In the connections section of DVD Maestro i was putting the End Action for each chapter to be - go to the beginning of the next chapter.

This appears to be un-neccesary so i removed all of the End Actions except for the last chapter end action - to go back to the beginning of the DVD.

I compiled and tested, it all works fine now with no jumping
