  1. Hi

Well, there are alot of requests for I-Author I see. I have tried to go back to the URL but it is gone now. However, I have the ZIP file and the patches...thanks to some kind hearted people in the forum...Thank You!!! If you wish to have the ZIP file, please E-Mail me and I will send it but you will have to use HJ split because Hotmail accounts will not allow me to send the entire file size. Now then...if anyone knows how to convert a mpg or MPEG file to mps for I-Author please let me know, I do not want to screw up any files that I already have made. Looking forward to your e-mails.
Cheers and Thanks for all the help with the I-Author patches. Happy burning.

  2. VIDEOHOUND, just let them have the link i sent you - the file is still there and you will not have to worry about the hotmail issue.

If you want to make a SVCD, use I-Author's multiplexer. If you want to make a VCD, convert the mpeg to .mps with mpgXmps.

  4. For Zed:

Zed..I am wondering if there is a difference between regular I-Author and Deluxe versions. Surely there must be. I agree the link would be much better and easier to provide rather than HJ workarounds. Tell me, how have your VCD/SVCD(s) come out using the program..tonight will be the first night I have used the program...any pitfalls to beware of? Any time saving advice you can provide to a ROM burning soul in matrix love?

  5. if u don't wanna demux & rename files to use the original mux, there is one out called mpg2mps (just load the mpg or mpeg and run)

  6. VIDEOHOUND

TO be honest I have not used it, I installed it and had a quick look at it but have never used it to create a VCD - I am currently using the VCD Toolkit and have found it to be good enough for what im doing (a vcd photoalbum) so have stuck with it. I believe the difference between deluxe and standard version of I Author is that the deluxe lets you do SVCD and the standard only VCD (I think..)

I will be interested to hear how you get on with it.

    regards

  7. For ZED: I see...Well, I will let you know what happens when I start creating......"Its Alive!!!! Alive!!!!...hahahaha...anyway..when I go to burn my photos..I will give you a holler. By the way where are you from if I may ask..just interesed..
