    Can someone tell me why in Tmpge its says "Analyzing" when make a CVCD. I have made many VCD and have not had it say this. Is there away around it. Please help.

    It means that you are using 2-Pas VBR. The first pass is the "Analyzing" pass.

    2-Pass VBR is very useful for maximizing disk space. If you don't like it, change to CBR or CQ or ...

    Thank you for the reply. How much difference in quality would it be to change from two pass to automatic? Time wise two pass said it would take 27 HR. Take is double what it normal takes.

    2 Pass will most likely give better quality at lower birates, especially if you are encoding a long video sequence and trying to fit on one cd-r
