MainConcept Mpeg Encoder Problem ?

I've only just started to use this encoder and I'm having a small problem:

When encoding to DVD with the preset template..... I am unable to get the completed Mpeg into SpruceUp......... Get some kind of Stream error reported ?

I can adjust various settings within the template..... Its just that Im not too sure what I need to change.

All in all its a Very quick encoder...... On my current system I can encode to Full D1 DVD in real-time.

I agree MainConcept's mpeg encoder seems to be faster and it's got more options to fool around with but...

I've had a somewhat similar problem. When I burn a VCD using Ulead DVD MovieFactory 1, near the end of the process, I get an error that says something like... "Generic error... make sure the system is ready for use". If I burn a different file I get no error. This is only happened with some mpeg files encoded with MainConpect mpeg encoder.

Anyway, I'm guessing you've never had problems with SpruceUp until you started encoding with MainConcept right?

In any case, try updating MainConcept's encoder... I believe the new version is 1.3 or something. They fix a lot of things dealing with DVD's.
