I am experimenting with trying to create DVD compatible files from my DV camera using TMPGEnc and ifoedit. When I create either mpg files or split m2v and wav files using TMPGEnc they seem to playback just fine in Media Player or WinDVD respectively. However when I use ifoedit to create DVD files to burn, the files playback in Jerks. This occurs off the hard disk version or of a CDROM.
If I use half D1 sized files, ifoedit just crashes...
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Am I using the right tools? I want to be able to put as much as possible onto a DVD+RW disc or onto CDROM.

I am in about the same situation - using TMPGEnc and Ifoedit
to create DVD-R from a DV camera - and I am having
the same problem with jerky playback of IFO files.
The files created by TMPGEnc (m2v and wav) play back
fine for me too in WinDVD.

Did you ever find a solution ?

If I ever get it figured out, I will post my solution.

    Thanks for any suggestions.
