    my friend gave me a compressed movie thats all in the r.00-r.49 but when i go join all the files together it says

    Packed data CRC failed in harry.potter.2.divx.cd1-dominion.avi. The volume is corrupt
    ! : The file "" header is corrupt
    ! : The file "" header is corrupt

    but my friends copy works just fine though. i used winRAR 2.71 and 3.10 is there any other programs that uncompress?

    i think what this sounds like is that there are more files that you need. there should be a main file with the extension .rar.
