I work at 25fps PAL. Clips which I've slowed down to, say 80% or even slower play fine in Premiere timeline and also play back fine when encoded to MPEG1. But as DVDs under MPEG2, slowed-down footage plays back juddered and uncomfortably. I've never encoultered this problem with MPEG1. Is it inevitable with DVD or can I do anything about it? I'm encoding at high bitrate and am happy with all other aspects of the picture; movement is good and I get no pixalisation anywhere. Just staggered playback of slowed-down footage.
Thanks.
