My Hauppage WinTV Nova-T digital TV card is not recognised as a capture card by any program (eg Virtualdub), and is listed by Device Manager as a network card. Tried every program available...
Normally files are saved as mpeg2's, but I have found them impossible to edit - even a simple cut/joint leading to out-of-sync audio. Again, tried every editing program available...
Is there a way of saving to AVI, or should I invest in a standalone DVD writer such as the Philips 880?
This problem is now into month 3 - and all I want to do is record widescreen digital TV films and trim the commercials etc. and have invested over £600 in the project. HELP!!!
