Ntsc and Pal,

Hello all, My question is this, I live in Great Britain and use Pal, I use Smartripper or Dvd Decrypter to transfer the film to my Hard Drive, Then if it's small enough after i've took the Subtitles etc out, Then i just Author it in SpruceUp and then Write it with Prassi, If it's too big i would use RemPeg to compress it to the right size, Etc, Then author,Then Copy to Dvd-r, The Main question is that when i burn the Film it's Pal, The thing i want to do is send a Dvd Film i've made to the USA which i know is Ntsc, Will the Film work or do i have to change it to Ntsc or make it Region Free, If so how do i do it, I know you can do it but don't know how, Please help on this Topic, Thank's,

When a film is copied using Smartripper as an example then it becomes region free as part of the settings if ticked within its options........''
Try not to confuse Pal and Ntsc as these are only frame rate's of the video and do not really have anything to do with regions etc. l copy Ntsc films from American as they sometimes come out earlier than in England they then play fine here because being copied as l've said makes it region free.......''

So if i copy a Pal film and it's Region free like you say when you do it with Smartripper then it will play on a Ntsc Player, Great, Thank's for your reply, It's good to see people answering posts, Thank's again for your time,
