I've been having some strange problems with playback of 720x576/704x576 PAL mpeg-1's on my Hollywood plus card (DXR3 - both creative and original software).
An offset part of the green signal (and some of the red & blue), flashes on top of what seems to be an otherwise ok picture.
Encoded with TMPGenc, I first though the file itself was garbage, but testing it on a standalone, the resulting picture was fine.
The strange thing is that the closest corresponding NTSC resolutions does not exhibit this problem when run through the card.
Due to an excruciatingly slow machine, I haven't really been able to investigate the extent of this problem, but found that 640x512 worked fine.
Anyone else come across this?
