hello. have authored many DVDs from SVCDs following the many guides out there (without the re-encoding). works great except the TMPGenc "join" of multiple mpegs knocks the audio out of sync starting at the second mpeg, so I just burn the DVD as 2 parts selectable from the menu.
my question (searched forums, no luck)...
I have downloaded the "Darkside of the Rainbow" SVCD from usenet and the mpegs have 2 audio tracks, 1 with just pink floyd and 1 with floyd + movie audio. I have extracted both audio tracks and video track with TMPGEnc.
using SpruceUp how would I make both tracks available? either by choosing from a menu (like english/spanish is sometimes available) or preferably being able to switch on the fly from one audio track to the other.
any help would be appreciated, no luck in the help files or the old spruceUp forums. i have other authoring tools if needed, but hope to stay with SpruceUp if possible.
thanks very much, marc

To the best of my knowledge, SpruceUp does not support more than one audio track/stream. I no longer use SpruceUp, so I'm not sure, but it might be possible to use a workaround for this - perhaps by having two instances of the same video on your disk, each with an alternative audio stream. Then again, I can't remember if SpruceUp will even allow more than one movie per project! Sorry I can't be more helpful

thanks for the reply. spruce will allow more than one video, just need to have a menu to link to the multiple videos, that's what i'm forced to do when i put a svcd to dvd-r (because of the tmpgenc sync issue).
what you stated is what i'm doing right now, putting 2 copies of the movie on 1 disc, one with each sound track and then will have a choice from the menu to which one you'd want to listen to/watch. thankfully the svcds are small enough for me to fit 2 movies on one disc.
take care, marc
