Hello,
I have been fairly successful when doing stripping audio streams and backing up my DVDs to DVDR. I am now trying to backup 4 of my small DVDs to 1 DVDR and I am getting huge audio sync problems.
The source is 4 of the "thumb" movies (thumb wars, bat-thumb, etc) which each DVD is about 22 min long. Here is what I did for each DVD:
1) Rip all files with dvd decrypter
2) Use dvd2avi to create WAV and D2V file
3) Use TMPGEnc with DVD template to create a mpeg2 file with audio and video. (Note, these mpg files play in perfect audio sync on my computer with mplayer2)
4) Use Ulead DVD MovieFactory to import all 4 MPG files and easily create a cute menu to select the 4 thumb movies. Create ISO file and burn DVD.
My problem is that when I play the DVDR in my standalone DVD player, the video is WAY too fast, running way ahead of the audio.
I have searched for different guides on DOOM9's site and this site, but it looks like the Ulead DVD MovieFactory is not that popular. It seems that this Ulead software does not let you choose different files for video & audio.
Does anyone have ideas on which software apps they would use to get this done? Thanks a lot!!
