This is SUCH a Newbie question, but I find (to my amazement) that no one addresses this.
How do I take digitally edited DV from my computer and record it onto an analog VHS tape, without having to make a digital tape first via a camcorder?
The only solution I can find is a Canopus AVDC-100 or similar unit, about $270 street price.
The "passthrough" camcorders do NOT pass through both ways; they only take analog and turn it into digital.
Is there a simpler passthrough alternative?
Thanks,
Steve
