    i think this is a stupid question, but is there any program that can separate "vocal" and "music" from a song. if yes, can you tell me what program is it.

    Try this program called vocal remover from analog x.

    I hope this works to your satisfaction, you can in put a mp3, (using winamp), and output a wav "without" vocal, but good luck, removing vocals from music is a daunting task, and i havent found a pay program that works any better than this free one does. believe me ive tried.

  3. Heh, usually, I use my Sega Saturn for that. It works pretty darn good too, but I still have to output and record to the comp. The saturn also has a GREAT pitch shift function. Most of those I have seen in WAVeditors do change the pitch, but they also change the length of the track to compensate for it. Not the Saturn. I have made several really cool "Alvin and the Chipmunks" versions of Grunge rock anthems. Heeheehee
