I'm kind of confused which forum my question should be because it sort of overlaps a little of each forum. So I decided to put it here.
My question pertains to the file system used by Win98 (FAT32) and Win 2k (NTFS). We know that FAT32 can't physically store files that are larger than 4GB but NTFS can.
So for video editing software in Win98 such as VirtualDub, it uses the OpenDML file segmentation technique. However, for more advanced software such as Adobe Premiere, how does it handle video files larger than 4GB? Does it also use segmented OpenDML files?
