  1. I have a high quality avi that I want a convert to a vcd. I have learned enough through this forum to pull it off & have done it successfuly several times b4 but this time I am getting a lot of purple hues that fade in and out when i play back the converted mpeg. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Don't think so, because the origin was a simple .AVI file.

  5. sorry don't even know what macrovision is but I have tried converting with vdub & PWI both with the same result

    In TMP go to options - environmental settings - VFAPI plugins, and raise the priority of Direct Show Multimedia File Reader to 2 not -2, try running again
