  1. When I try to make a vcd using virtual Dub and TMPGE, I have the following problem:
I have installed the full codecs for xvid so I use Virtual Dub to make a wav file (and later on HeadAC3he) for the sound-file. Later when I try to use TMPGE, I get a "kernal32 error message"when I start TMPEG. When I uninstall the xvid-codec and only install xvid-decoder ... no problem.
So now I'm always installing the full xvid-codec because I also need the soundcodecs for the use in Virtual Dub, and then have the uninstall the lot before using TMPEG.
Well, it works but I was wondering if somebody had simular problems and has a solution for the "kernal32" problem.
I also have Panasonic MPEG1 encoder installed, but I hardly use it because I find that TMPEG works much faster with simular (although a little less) videoquality. Also the mpeg files from TMPEG seems to work better on my dvd-player (Philips) then the Panasonic-ones.
I hope somebody can give some good advice. Thanks
