in tmpgenc there is a setting to reduce block noise...if it is enabled the two boxes have a default number of 35....if you hover on it there will be a little ballon saying that at a higher nimber (max of 100) there will be less block noise. i have set mine to 100 and have done many conversions from dvd and other sources over the years and in my opinion the higher the number the less blocks, i really dont know about that but anyway....does any one know the effects of it or if it is actually better or worse cos i have a hard time telling the difference and if i dont need to do it will it be faster????
