  1. hey guys,
i have a problem, basically i was ripping a Beaches DVD (dont ask, for my wife), following the "The Original Official Guide by Sefy Levy" from this website. Everything was cool and i basically was able to split it into 2 files on mpg. when i play the Mpg files, it sounds and looks, and works great!!!! I followed everything with that guide except the part with VCDEasy and ChapterXTractor. But now i am trying to fit the Mpg files into VCD using Nero. I am aware that you have to select VCD as a new compliation for Nero, and i have burned many VCD's before with Nero, but i cant seem to get a good VCD out of any of the files. Nero seems to take to be burning the vcd's good but, when it is completed i cant play them, and they have about "2.18MB or 4.2mb" capacity. Nero takes about 30 mins to burn, 2.1mb of files??? Whats up with that?
    Am i doing something wrong?

  4. mpeg2 is svcd format, dont use nero to make vcd use VCDEASY, with vcdeasy you can add chapters and the ability to scan. With vcdeasy you turn the mpeg into bin/cue then burn with nero or cdrwin, also you may want to think about getting a faster burner.

  5. @Trunks4191, have you tried following the Complete Guide ? it also shows
how to use NERO after you have completed the MPEG/VCD files, and since it
uses the same guide, it should be easier for you to follow.

  7. VCD Player... they are extremly senesetive to the type of movie, it has to be
completly 100% standard in order for it to work.

Which Template did you use in TMPGEnc, and did you make any changes ?

  8. I'm also using the latest version of VCDEasy. It works great. I just tryied Nero today. I wasn't able to add the still pictures (title picture, change CD and The End) that DVD2SVCD creates. So I flushed it and went back to VCDEasy. And that's true, I create 10 equal chapters just before burning it on a CD. Just try it, it's free.
