    Search Comp PM
I burn all DVD media as VCD on DVD.
My problem is that I don't want my Mpeg1 LayerII audio to be recompressed in PCM or DD or whatever.
I want to fit 460+ minutes on a single DVD.
SpruceUp does this, but in my opinion some functionalities are missing (Background sounds, text morphing).
I did a search here and found that probably Ulead DVD Workshop is the one.
Anyone can confirm or suggest something ??

PS: I need chapters support as well as good menu building/navigation.

    Thanks.

  2. I can't help you, but I know that MyDVD does recompress audio to PCM if you create DVD project.

  3. Yes you can create a VCD-DVD with workshop without any re-encoding taking place. I have managed to fit the whole of the first series of friends on 1 DVD using this method.

Since all my VCD mpg files' audio has 44.1KHz, and I am sure that DVD Workshop will automatically convert any audio to 48KHz. Will DVD Workshop re-encode the video also?

  6. DVD WS will work great, up till Saturday all I had for Analog caps was Dazzle DVC which is mpeg1, and all mine came out greeat. As for the sound, I dunno I alwarys capped the sound in 48,000 using customize option in dazzle software.
