I FINALLY was able to write a CD-R disk with a VCD 1.1 file. The original source was an MPEG1 at 29.00073fps which was 143 M. The size of the frames are 320 x 240,and was shot with a Sony Digital 8 DCR-TRV 840 (top of the line). I've written the CDs at different speeds, the last one at 8x. The CD-RW is a Lite-On 24102b, and has the capacity to write at 24x. I've seen progress as a burn the file slower, but the quality is STILL not acceptable. I guess I have several new CD-Rs that will make fine coasters...
The voices sound as if they're out of a 1950s movie about computers--mechanical and slow. The video is also slow and a little distorted. Is there anything I can do???????????????????????????????????????
