Do I anything wrong when burning VCD?

I use Nero 5.5 using guide here, so no problem. It also starts play without any problem in my DVD Player (Grundig GDV 130). But when I try use fast forward, rewind function or pause, it doesn't work, it will show crossed circle. But some VCD's works fine, so what's wrong?

i aint an expert but i thought i would reply cos u have had 30 views & no replies!!!

i would guess it is a problem with your DVD player, try playing the movie on your pc with software such as power dvd or windvd. if there is no problem with them then the chasnces are it is your player.

also, you could try to copy the mpeg file from a working VCD and then re burn it onto a new cdr, then try to play it in your player. if it doesn't work then it is almost certainly your player.

also, try the movies which dont work in your player on other peoples dvd players!!!!

Well, should not be problem with DVD Player, I've checked compatibility list and all GDV-130's users have no problem with playing VCD's.

But I get shocking news right now: I put the VCD into DVD Player again and it works!! actually:

Probably DVD Player had badly read the VCD and all the others which I've mentioned. It seems when I will experience this problem again, should be enough to try it open and put VCD into it again...

Probably problem with CD-W ROM? High burning speed?
