Can anyone report if they have used the DRU500a and ACCU DVD-R's to perfection? I mean with no problems or playback issues. No pixelation or freezing on the standalone player, etc. I would really like to try these ACCU's out because regular DVD blanks are too expensive. Please report your experiences with the DRU500a and ACCU DVD-r's. Thanks in advance

I ordered them from CDRDVDRMedia. They are burning at 2x and the image quality is identical to the DVD. No gripes with them at all. Would order all over again.

I did the same as EZ - I have made one movie - seemed ok and several data disks but I have not done a bit by bit check.
Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin' -
I ordered the following ACCU from:
http://www.meritline.com/ac47dvsilbla1.html
And so far I have successfully copied several without one coaster!
I have also got them to burn at 2x as it says on the page.
This is my favorite media so far. -
I have used the Accu's almost exclusively and without any problems. Matter of fact, I'm about to order my 3rd spindle. +90 burn (~70 DVDs & 20 PS2) and only one coaster, which was my fault.
I've seen some Neo4's that supposedly burn a 4x in some Pioneer drives but I don't wanna chance it. Why switch from a winner? -
