I have just purchased a Pinnacle PCTV deluxe (USB) card and have a question about MPEG-2 Bitrates. I am trying to get a really good quality capture to burn to my new Cendyne DVR-105. I've been playing around with the various bit rates and have found that capturing at less than 10Mb/s for custom MPEG-2 I can use the burn DVD function for the file, but after capturing at above 10Mb/s(I figured higher bitrate, better quality) the files are greyed out and cannot be selected to burn to DVD. I also have Studio 8 and when I use this application to burn to DVD I get a failed compilation error. Is this custom bitrate not DVD compatible?
Thanks for your help.
