  1. can anyone help???
    i have been using clad dvd 1.3,tmpeg and dvdit pe to copy my dvd,s but clad has now changed to 2.0 version.i cant seem to get this new version to work so i,.m lookin at another way for me to backup my dvd,s.is there another way to copy these easily.
    i cant use rempeg2 as this stops at 99 percent and i,m trying to use smartriper then dvd2avi but again i,m having probs using dvd2avi,,can anyone point me in the right direction as to which way would be the best for me

  2. everybody has their own prefferences to backing up dvds.

    the reason im answering this post is to tell you dont worry about rempeg2 hanging at 99%.
    it does a lot, just close it down and your file will be alright.

  3. If you're happy with Clad dvd1.3, why not keep on using it.

    You don't have to upgrade to 2.0 !

  5. I personaly use different methods depending on what I want to do with my DVD.

    If I want to just rip the movie off (no menus or extras), then I usually use the DVD2DVDR program. (simple to use.. just the basics)

    If I want to keep the menus but I need to re-encode, then I use a guide found at doom9.org that tells you how to re-encode your movie and to keep the original menus.

    Actually, I could go into plenty of different methods that I use for different things I want to accomplish. (I am still learning).

    But to answer your question in a short way (too late), if you want a quick method of doing it, use DVD2DVDR

    I have no doubt that this program will improve over time. Just look how far DVD2SVCD has come over the years (yes, I know.. different people wrote the programs).
