I'm trying to convert a couple screener movies to xvcd format. I've been successful but the sound is corrupt somehow. It's difficult to explain but the sound burps every couple seconds. It's in line with the video but the sound burping is terribly annoying. The original has a flawless soundtrack so i know this problem is occuring when i rip it with avi2wav. I've tried ripping it with virtualdub but it keeps telling me that "The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format. Check the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format." The sampling rate is 48000 and the channel count is 2 (stereo). I've checked that and made sure the settings were correct. It still gives me the error. Anybody know what "burp" i'm talking about and know how to rip the sound properly?
