Converting .nrg file

i tried vcdgear to convert a nero dvd-r to a .bin, but vcdgear doesnt work. it just sits there for hours and it produces a file that is zero k. any know whats going on here? can i do this any other way?

MoreMissingTools has a "rip .nrg" routine.

If you used the terminal more you would not use spaces in the paths.
Anyway, the command looks good, could vcdgear have corrupted the file?

i used no spaces in the path, but i still get the same error. any ideas?
