    All of the movies that I have burned to DVDr have ben .avi. I use vdub to rip the sound, then tmpgenc to encode using the avi for video and my newly created wav for audio. My question is, if i start out with an mpeg movie, do i just use it as both the video and audio source, or do i have to do the same as with avi?
