  1. It sez that the file is not an avi file... well duhhh.. but why??? it did that on both cce v2.66 and v2.62.. any clues?

    Have you installed avisynth? AVS is just a script that tells avisynth what to do. Without Avisynth installed your avs file is simply a txt file.

    If you did install avisynth then what version are you using?

    See whether your .avs file will also not load into Virtualdub. Then you will be sure you have a problem with your Avisynth installation.
