Hey everyone.
I'm trying to decode a movie and put it on SVCD using AVI2SVCD and CCE 2.50. Sometimes it work flawlessly, others I get this weird error that pops up out of nowhere. I used VirtualDub to check for errors in the avi but there are none. I'll decode it again and it'll either work fine or error again in a different spot.
Here's the error:
fexp_close() failed:*** Could not close the file <file name>*** The file is invalid.
[Windows error code: 0x6 6]
Any ideas? Thanks.

I have had the same problem, yet only when the original avi was encoded in divix 4. Have never had the problem with divix 5.xx. TMPGEnc seems to encode just fine, so whenever I have this problem, I use TMPGEnc and all is good. I would rather use cce 2.50 all the time, so I am curious what I need to do to not have this error.
Thanks
