Morpheus Divx Preview error. PLEASE READ!!

when i download a video file with Morpheus and try to preview it while its downloading, i get taken to the Theater but nothing happens, even though i've downloaded about half of the file. i've got to wait for the whole thing to download and then watch it. this is really annoying because i want to check the quality and don't want to wait for the whole thing to complete.

I am guessing that you are d/l an avi file. If this is the case most players including the one in Morpheus cant play them until the file has completely downloaded. To do this use a player called "The Playa". It can play unfinished files and is free. Here is a site to download it

i tried downloading that but the problem remains! anything else?

Morpheus and KaZaA, both create a DAT file when downloaded. Im guessing because either grab sections of the file from diffrent users then when finished create an AVI.

You can't watch the divx movie when downloading because the codec is at the end of the download. If you want to watch it copy and past the unfinished movie and use Divxfix in the tools section on this site. It works for me.
