  1. Hi yall
    I have a question here :P
    i've just converted 2 DivX movies to vcd and they fit on 1 cd
    i was just screwing around with the tmpgenc options
    and i tried to play it on my standalone dvd player and it just play it very good no errors or something
    but now i forgot what options i used in tmpgenc
    is there a program that can look the info of the mpg file and says what bitrate, sound etc etc...
    but it doesn't want to play the mpgs on my computer
    as far i know it's a svcd format

    hope anyone can help me

  2. if you really want to know the settings of the mpeg file on the SVCD, you should convert the .DAT file you find in your MPGAV folder on the SVCD disk

    once you have the MPEG file, you can use this program to check the properties
