AVI to DVD-R Video but NO SOUND??

Hi,

I have attempted to put AVI onto a DVD-R using the lastest version of Nero with the dvd plugin. When i tried to play it i got the video but there was no sound at all. Tried it on my pc and on two standalone dvd players and got nothing but the video.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Suggest you load the AVI video into a sound editor like Gold Wave and see if you have audio on both channels. If not, you can Paste and Mix it on the lacking channel.

At least you are getting that far...

I'm using an old STB PCI Tuner/Capture card and when I previewed the one minute scene, I could hear the sound. While I was capturing it, I could hear the sound, but when I played the AVI file back on windows media player, all I had was the video.

Since I haven't made sure everything is hooked up correctly, I'm not going to post about "how come" now, but I will later.
