    I am using the VCD header trick on my Sony DVP-S300 and it is playing the SVCD fine but the picture is in the lower, out of my T.V half and slightly to the right of the screen. Stuff is cut off and it looks like crap. I am using the method provided on the VCDEasy forums tht this has has a link to. Ay replies will be appreciated.

    I don't think theres really anything you can do it about it. The trick isn't guaranteed to work properly or at all for every player.

    i think i've heard that the resolution can do that if the dvd player can't handle it.

    Then would it be possible to force the resolution down a little bit (perhaps 400*400) and still acheive SVCD?
