  1. Alright man I've done everything and wasted three Cd's. OK I'm trying to burn my first VCD. But I can't, I have the antwone fisher .avi, it's in 3 parts, I got them off mIRC, in a TMD channel. Okay I encoded them with tmpgenc using these instructions http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm. Okay well I encoded all three and it came out fine with 3 mpg's and I can play them on Windows media player and others. Ok, well time to burn, I click Nero express put the first mpg in nero and burn away....... Okay it burns fine. So I put it in one of my DVD players and it says Cannot play disc, put it in another and it says not a valid CD! Ok well I've been wasting plentyyyyy of time doing this, and my CPU doesn't even play the VCD's I burned, I put them in my computer and it just slows down trying to read the CD, do I need a DVD drive or something? I'm stuck and lost, maybe I should try another movie because the antwone fisher avi was like 14 fps. Well plz help and thanks.

    God Bless.

  2. Since you can play the converted MPG, but the disk does not even recognize in the PC (I assume you can't even see files in Explorer), there is something wrong with your CD-Burner and/or the media. Get a couple of quality CD-RW and test with those, also burn at lower speed.

The movie may look like crap cause of the 14FPS, but that is not the issue at this point. The PC will handle almost any format, the fact it can't read the disk points to a much more basic issue. Try burning a data disk with any files at all and see if you can read it.

You may also want to try a different burning software.

  3. TMD Movies, you must be kidding...
....stop wasting ur time, just rent the dvd's....
mirc is just another pirate outfit, and we dont
like that kind of stuff here.....

  4. Yep I can't even go to explorer, because my CPU sometimes crashes when trying to open it. I'm not pirating i just wanna view the movie, it's not even out yet. But I'm stuck and I guess this will never work for me. I have a Memorex CRW 1622 burner.

  5. can u tell me were to download the tmd codec thanks
