Im trying to capture my VHS copy of Back To The Future #1 using virtualdub with the picvideo mjpeg codec. But, i get ALOT of dropped frames and it says the video transfer is only going like 14 fps. Other movies dont do this. Any ideas?

In Virtualdub capture mode press F9 then u can change the fps (maby you allready done this then I cant help you sorry)
Is the tape in good condition? Maby its fussy image and stuff and the signal is not good then u gets framedrops, I can for instance only capture brand new tapes.
