Hello, I'm trying to follow the "DivX to SVCD guide 2", but I'm encountering an error not mentioned in the guide. When I try to join two AVI videos in VirtualDub, I get the error "Cannot append segment: The audio streams have different sampling rates (19718.00000 vs 19818.00000)
Any suggestions you may have would help greatly. Thanks for your time.

What I do is first extract WAV sound from each AVI, then put the WAV sound back into each AVI. Assuming the WAV's were created with the same sample rate, you should have 2 appendable files. If you need step-by-step instructions let me know.
